Halterman Landscaping Design “officially” began servicing the Morgantown, WV area in the spring of 2011. Its namesake proprietor Christopher Halterman, however has been beautifying the area’s residential landscapes (in his spare time) for a decade prior. From paver patios to retaining walls and stacked natural stone stairways, Christopher honed his art and launched a now flourishing business. Over the past seasons Christopher has assembled a cherry-picked team to bring his vision to life. Lauded for their hardscaping expertise and heightened sense of detail, Christopher and his team are well respected and highly in demand. HLD definitely has developed a particular landscape style and the cornerstone of that style is delivering impeccable customer service. “Every interaction we have with our clients is an opportunity to exceed their expectations—from returning their initial phone call or email within 24 to 48 hours to leaving their outdoor space clean at the end of each work day,” says Christopher. Awarded the Angie’s List Super Service Award in 2013 proves that their diligence is paying off. Continuously scheduling projects even a year in advance, the HLD team is focused on doing things differently. The group of college grads each adds something unique to the team and its projects. "Hardscaping is definitely what we are best known for as well as a giving our clients professionalism with a personal touch,” says Christopher.
