WVUCancer Institute LUNG CANCER SCREENING EVENT Virtual Telephone In-Person May 15, 16 & 17 University Towne Centre YOU ARE ELIGIBLE IF YOU: ARE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 50-80 AND ARE A CURRENT -OR- SMOKER GREATER THAN HAVE A >20 PACK YEAR SMOKING HISTORY HAVE QUIT IN THE PAST 15 YEARS HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CHEST CT SCAN IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS After registering, patients can be scheduled for a video or telephone visit, which will include a comprehensive history and exam by a nurse practitioner as well as smoking cessation counseling. Eligible high-risk patients will be referred for a low-dose CT (LDCT) scan to detect lung cancer at its earliest stages.
