BFS Companies began in 1974 as an agriculture business (Bruceton Farm Service) when Marshall Bishop purchased the Southern States store in Bruceton Mills, WV. That side of our business has had steady development over the years with four Southern States stores and 18 petroleum bulk plants in WV, MD, PA and OH.
